    Quick question on lowering

Hi all. I have the sport package on my 04 and am considering a new wheel/tire package. I want it to look nice and clean, but doesnt have to be BALLER...lol.
I still want to be able to get into my driveway.

Question is, if I were to have a non sport package A4 and did an aftermarket drop...how much lower (if at all) would it be than the Audi sport package lowering? (which is 20mm, I think)
I know there's different lowering kits...but would it look bad if I had the stock sport lowering and left it like that if I went with the below wheels?

    I'm considering the RPM R-505's to look like this dude's A4 http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=216369
    Love that look. Very tasteful.
Considering I'm in the Philly area and he's in Canada...I dont think we'll show up at the same event and look like twins

    Thanks

    Re: Quick question on lowering

I think 20mm, is about 3/4 inch... when a kit says it will lower the front 1.5in, go ahead and take off the 3/4 in to compensate for the sport suspension you already have..

I don't know if that is helpful, or what you are looking for....hope it helps.

Yeah, I guess that makes sense.
    Duh to me.

I suppose my next question would be do you think that wheel/tire package would look incomplete with just the sport suspension?
    Thanks

    Re: Quick question on lowering

here's the thing bro, if ur car is a 2002 with sport suspension then ur car would be pretty low we're talking like a 1 finger gap in the rear! if urs is 03-05, then urs rides a bit higher and u can expect about a 0.75 inch drop with neuspeed race springs! if u have 02 sport it'll be more like a half inch drop!

    Re: Quick question on lowering

pretty much any aftermarket suspension will sit lower than oem sport, even model year 02. you definitely want to address ride height if you plan to get new wheels. it will certainly look 'incomplete' to have nice wheels and a lot of fender gap due to the oem suspension. also, any fender gap you have now will be more noticable once you throw larger wheels on. suspension is a must.
