    All,
I’m at a cross roads.. My 2004 S/4 Avant’s factory warranty will expire soon.. I have been quoted $2800.00 for a 4 year / 60k miles ‘extended service plan via Easy Care.

Is it ‘worth’ it ..if so is this a great / good price?

    Thanks all!

    Re: Extended warranty?

I think only you can determine if it's worth it or not. I myself don't think it is but I can do almost all of the mechanical stuff myself.

Extended service plan? Sounds like a maintenance plan rather than a warranty, but it may be nomenclature. Yes, it is worth it unless you are so mechanically inclined to be able to pull your engine and drop your transmission. I got one, forgot how much I paid, but I like the peace of mind.

Unfortunately sold (traded-in). Dealer is looking to move her for a good price. PM for details and I'll get you in touch.

    Re: Extended warranty?

There's NO way I'd drive without one. I'd buy the most comprehensive you can afford and of course do your research on what company to go with. I purchased mine form Audi because it provided me adequate coverage with the least amount of hassles getting things approved. I've experienced difficulties in the past going through third party warranty's. Third party warranty's will often provide you a less expensive alternative to a comparable Audi plan, I just prefer the peace of mind and simplicity of one-stop shopping. Do a search on here and AudiWorld. There's been numerous threads on this subjust. There's a guy named Mark that frequents the forums who deals with third party warranty.
