What are great 2.8L engine mods?

Hey guys I wanted to know what would a good start to get my 2.8 going for more HP. Yeah I wish it was turbo but drives awesome. So any ideas as to where I shoudl start. Cold Air Intake, cat back exhaust, etc...

best mod is the pes supercharger.
Intake isn't going to do much especially if it's not properly designed (with heatshielding)

Hold on a sec your other post says it's a 12v v-6.
Do not plan on getting much more for power out of this engine.

The supercharger will not work on this car.

they supposedly make a 12v supercharger, but I hear PES made a very limited amount.

best mod is the sales mod.

Not really any HP gain mod options for that engine, either sale it for a A4 or S, or just go with the appearance route.

best advice - don't listen to most of the info in this thread

stasis used to build 260 hp all motor 12 valve motors iirc for their race cars. not saying it is easy, but possible. that said, check out the 12 valve forums on audiworld. they will be able to give you some advice beyond "get an s4." i would recomend searching their first though. there is lots of information and people aren't always thrilled to be repeating it (for better or worse). you may also want to try a search here - there is plenty of info.

if you have a 30 valve, PES makes superchargers for it. they mad e a G1 and a G2 for the 30 valve. Only the G2 is still in production. It can be had used for under $3k.
