well i have an opportunity to pick up a hit in the front 2000 a4, motor is ok luckly, comes with new hood fenders rad support/rad headlights blah blah.. wondering if i could take stock s4 manifolds/with some k04s or k03s and succesfully turbo the stock 2.8. i mean is it as easy as bolt and go with an s4 computer, clutch etc or would i be in over my head? im an audi tech so the work is done by me but never really got into swaps with them. any ideas or help is greatly appreciated. thanks!

Internals are much weaker and 2 main bolt vs. 4 main bolt...2.8 is not built for the kind of boost the 2.7 sees.

pistons would be the minimum to see any boost over what the 2.7t sees in stock form. dont forget oil and coolant lines for the turbos, etc.

so for sake of longevity the 2.7 is probably my best bet to drop in there unless i wanted to forge a 2.8 2.7 seems to be the way for me
