Few Questions.

So i've been having a few starting problems recently and I'm wondering what the problem is. At random times the car will have some rough starts. It will crank but it won't start. After its sits for a while it will then start. Today I had this problem and when it did start, there was big cloud of blue smoke that came out of the exhaust. This was the first time I've seen this happen. I'm wondering what this could be and if it is related to the car not starting sometimes. I know that blue smoke means that its burning oil so could this be the beginning of a head gasket problem or valve cover, or could it be turbo related. I'm getting new spark plugs and coil pack this thursday so maybe that might solve the starting problem. There is 60k on the clock so its about time to replace those. Any suggestions or ideas other than plugs and coilpacks for the starting problem and blue smoke?

Sounds like you have a fuel problem. Could be a clogged filter, old fuel pump, bad/clogged injectors. Ide start with the fuel filter as its the cheepest. Then go from there..

filter was the first thing I replaced when I bought the car do that should be fine. The pump might be a good idea to replace. The injectors are soon to be replaced the the hp 225 ones due to me upgrading to 1+. I'll do some reseach on the fuel pump. Thanks.
