Ordered a set of RS4 k04s yesterday and 034 motorsports RS4 Replica pipes last week. just need to decide on a clutch and I am set! Super pumped right now, man. Can't wait to feel the transformation this beast is going to make.

Why is it dangerous? Does the car run lean or something? I always thought it might be better to run 3- for a bit to work out any bugs that come with the extra hp

running k04s without fuelling is NOT dangerous if you run the correct software. it is actually more reliable (obviously) than stock.

if youre running the right software yes...but if you have say a stage 2 ecu,youll probably run a bit lean which isnt good. yea obv the k04s are more reliable then k03s...

Nice I"m in the same exact position. Bought some used KO4's and having them rebuilt as we speak. Then purchased the inlets from 034 and now just playing the waiting game. I don't really feel like putting them in just yet so I'm going to wait a bit. I'll probably go with a GIAC stage 3- tune..

Well yea the tune isnt meant for the bigger turbos, you can use lemmi to tweak it and if you have a wideban o2/MBC you don't even need the software, just do some fuel tweaks.
