I just did a suspension swap, and now my 255/40/18 Dunlops are WAY too wide to fit up inside my wheel wells.
Since I live in an area with roads that are filled with potholes, bumps, uneven pavement, etc. I was thinking of trying a plus size aspect ratio tire to smooth out the ride and help add some cushion to my rims.
Anyone try this size? I am fully aware of all the other changes that plus sizing will make, but I am really concerned with whether or not the fronts will clear the tight fit of the upper arm.
The 255/40's fit and by deductive reasoning, they are the same height as a set of 225/45's. Does anyone know what the height difference would be between 225/45 amd 235/45?
HELP!
