What coding do you have for Instruments (Module 17) and adaptation channel 19 as well.?

Why not put up a scan of everything and we can try and help you out. I have had a retrofit done for a 2008 B7 S-Line so know what settings worked for me.

Right, Instruments Module 17 is 0006418 and adaptation on 19 is 31000.

    Re: DIS Coding Help Please

Your codes seem consistent given that you are in GB and I'm in Canada. Try adaptation code 31300 and see if the menu display gives you any additional options. I found I needed to have the engine running in order to get the menu display; the reset button on the bottom of the stalk moves you through the high level options and the toggle switch on the end lets you make a choice.

I just thought I should mention, I am trying to do the coding with a cheap lead and Vag com 704, not sure if that is important or not??

    Re: DIS Coding Help Please

From experience, I know the $7 cable had limits on what adaptation channels I could adjust; obviously the Ross-Tech cable I now have works great :-) :-)

Mind if I ask where you got your stalk from and how much it ran you? Looking to do the mod myself.

    Re: DIS Coding Help Please

Have just been looking into my problem here and can update that the display is saying a problem with the "Parking Lights" and "Dipped Headlights" not bulb warning as I stated previously... Maybe this changes things???

Central Electronics Coding looks all messed up...

I set mine to 11021 to have Bi-Xenon in Rest of World mode to adjust the parking lights. It came from the factory as 11023 - Avant for Canada with Bi-Xenon and DRL. I suspect correct setting of the halogen/bi-xenon config will clean up your fault codes.

Sorry don't think I can suggest much more; could be a cable problem or a module problem if the changes won't stick.

BTW - did this occur when trying to change the adaptation channel 19 setting; that was the symptom I had with my ebay cable; once I got my Ross-Tech cable that change worked fine

    Re: DIS Coding Help Please

I finally found the problem today!!!! My aftermarket zenons were causing the Low beam warning and the sidelight bulbs had gone and were causing the Parking light warning......

I wish I'd realised this sooner.. Thanks for the help I got.....

    I can't believe I didn't check the basics!!
