Doc or Charles - Chime in Please . . .

I've been searching for days but no particular answer for my application. I have a 2000 S4 with Euro S4 springs, Koni Yellows, Fikse MachV Rims with Toyo T1-R 235/35/18(not sure what the et is). The ride is great and it only rubs a little up front on full turn locks. My question is I want to get the BBS CH's in 19's with 35 offset and run 235/35 tires. I also want to lower some more to remove any wheel gap.

Are there any particular tires with sidewalls that would lessen the chance of rubbing? I think the CH's would be okay with my current setp but not when I lower it some more. I'd like to avoid having to roll my fenders but will if necessary.

    Thanks in advance . . .

The 235/35R19 is 1.0" taller in overall diameter than the 235/35R18. ET35 is what we recommend for the S4, but I haven't seen any specific tire with magic sidewalls. Sometimes tires witha more rounded shoulder (like the Michelin PS2) can minimize a little rub, but it won't work miracles.

Exactly what Doc said. Certain tires cant work miracles and can only help slightly... since you are lowering a lot, you might have to jump into some suspension adjustments; such as camber. Ps2's have quite low tread wear and -1 camber could possibly decrease tire life dramatically, but i think you should be ok as long as toe settings are within stock spec.
