ok so ive been looking into these ksport kontrol coilovers for my 99 a4 and have been getting some mixed opinions. Some people seem to love them and some people dont, so what i want to know is overall how do they ride, and for the price 840 shipped, are they worth it (i dont really feel like spending 1000 +). Anyone who has had any experience with these please pass it on to me!

    Re: ksport coilovers

They suck. NOt because the aren't some name brand like most would just say. They suck because they are cheap and the blow out. They are the same as these three other cheap coilovers, but they have different names. Just my experience. On the plus side the rode nice.

    Re: ksport coilovers

Please do not buy them I tried playing cheap twice and got burn.First I bought the tein coilovers they send me the wrong one for a two wheel drive Audi the company would not take them back because I open the box. Then I bought V- maxx they are no good they slam in the back when you hit a bump and the front squeeks a lot and rub in corners I change this suspension twice. Now I am stuck trying to get back my money $894.56 plus installation for both suspension cost, I then bought H&R COILOVER from www.tirerack.com for $1058.00 and I love them Plus the H&R saved my life so I am paid in full. So I could have bought another set of H&R plus have about $450.00 left over trying to play cheap go with a name brand suspension please.

    Re: ksport coilovers

I ordered a full custom setup with "AR-spec" dampers from them. After reading through all the coilover threads, I found there isn't really a brand everyone is happy with so I figured I'd give these a try. I can't comment on them yet, or for a while because it'll be a month or two before I have my suspension/chassis setup to where I want it.

FWIW, they were pretty easy to deal with... I wouldn't cheap out and get Kontrol Pros though. For a bit more money I got custom spring rates and valving tailored to my spring rates.
