Car hestitating....

When ever I accelerate my car feels like it's "coughing" I can hear the back exhaust *cough cough cough* the best analogy I can give is.. i feels like the tires are not gripping at 1st I thought it was that but now I am not so sure.

Last thing I did was switch oil from 0W-40 Mobile one

to Royal Purple 5w-30

Specs-
99.5 Turbo/Quattro/manual
GIAC
Standard stock k03
Ecode test Pipe
Borla V1 Exhaust

Car was seafoamed 3 months ago->b4 oil change
I am do for an oil change in 15-days. Ideas? FYI**This happens only in Second Gear/Third Gear it tends to not happen in 1st Gear/4th gear or 5th gear

Misfires go cough cough cough and cause the tire no grip effect.

yeah--god I wish I could explain better.

It's like if you have a car and it accelerates.

do you have a check engine light? sound like it's cutting out.
possibly a boost leak, does it idle normally?
flashing check engine light?

Ok good news/bad news

Took car out for spin...Boost hit 20PSI/car idles great. Then I get "FLASHING CHECK ENGINE LIGHT" Then it stops.

I check codes

p0422
po304 X2 (repeated twice) ??
p1300

FYI**I have not done defouler mod yet. I cleared codes and car drove great...But I am sure they will pop again.

agreed misfire on cylinder #4, possible defective coil pack or icm failing.
is your idle smooth only happens when under a load?
Could just need plugs but i bet it needs a coil too.

+1 check coil + cable and or plugs/gap
