Hey Robert, If all goes well and I can get all my money together and provided the gb is still going on I might be selling my FI CF hood. I figure I might be able to cut some of my cost down by ordering a new hood.

If you guys get FI - please do yourself a favor and clearcoat the pieces right after receiving them. My trunk got crazy waterspots into the resin and i had to sand it all the way down and reclear after only 6 months. I think the folks at FI are using marine polyester resin again and the properties of their resin "soak" in the environmental debris...

if youre getting the vorsteiner hood it cost me about 300 to get it shipped here.

Did you go thru SPP? Did you see that post in the group buy section? I just emailed them yesterday and he told me $895 plus shipping. But I pointed out that the post said that the price listed says that includes shipping so now I'm waiting for their response to that. Which hood did you get? Did you get this one? I'm looking to get the hood in the first pic.

Vorsteiner - top notch quality. The guy who owns the company (Vorsteiner) - i hate his ass - unethical dude. If you get a good shipping rate, I think you'll be very happy with the hood. SPP is top notch in my book.

i went thru SPP during the group buy. i got the double sided B7 one. its still sitting in my room...waiting for a few extra hands to help install it. free shipping was only for the mainland. they quoted me 450-480 for shipping, but since it was "free shipping" they took off a few bucks.
i also have a eurogear one that i bought a few months earlier and thats also sitting in my room. will be posting it in the FS section soon.
