I recently bought a 2000 A4 and noticed that the two identical-looking key fobs take different kinds of batteries. One uses a pair of 3 volt 1620 lithium cells and the other uses just one, larger 3 volt CR2032 battery. Both remotes work fine, but I'm wondering why they're different?
