I know this isn't the for sale section, however i know most of you guys look at this forum more than the for sale section, so here it is...a new APR Turbo inlet hose, package has been opened, but not installed, due to me finding out late that this hose will not work on the 04-05 model.

Bought it from ECS this week for $159 plus shipping.

My price $150 shipped. Everything is included with original packaging, the hose is Black.

    Thanks,

    Steve

Dude it will work!!! All you have to do is run to home depot for a 90 degree fitting and buy some bulk hose with about a 45 degree bend. When I get a chance I can try to post a pic.

They also should have supplied you with a T fitting for the hose that attaches up by the air box. Do a search, you will find something.

You CAN make it work, as I had the same problem a few months back. Don't sell it and take a loss. Another thing you might want to do is call APR.
APR TIP, APR 1+, TT injectors, RaceTec FMIC, JHM Extra short throw shifter (45% reduction), ER Test Pipe, 19" OZ Ultraleggeras, B5S4 Front Calipers, Adam's Rotors with black hubs, Hawk HPS, PSS9 coilovers, Hotchkis Sways, clear corners, tint, Magnaflow Exhaust, Podi pod with SW boost gauge.

I did the same thing! I bought this pipe for my '03 and was a little annoyed that it obviously was NOT engineered for my car. They did supply the necessary t-fitting, but to me its the principle of the thing.

I'm going to send mine back and get a Forge or Neuspeed TIP. I can't find a Samco one, which seems odd. The only hoses they list for my car are the intercooler hoses (which I actually need too).

    Cheers,

IF...I decide to keep it it would be cool to find a writeup, or at least some destructions from APR on how to install this. I'm surprised there were not any installation instructions on their site.

I agree with ExCarpi. A call to APR would be a good idea. I think I'll call too and see what the deal is.

i figured out the T fitting, and ya your right it is the metal elbow or whatever thats giving me the problem, but im not gonna go and buy something from a hardware store for it to fit. I also seen in a write up that i can go to the audi dealership and buy the 02-03 elbow, but im so fed up with the fact that its not made for the 04-05 that i went ahead and ordered the Neuspeed Xtreme
