Well this morning I got up early to head over to meineke, got there at 8:30, car went up the lift at 9:30 and was out by 10-ish. Got the resonator cut off, replaced with straight pipes. With that and my 14851's already being on, the combo of the 2 just sounds great. Such an improvement over just the 14851s with the resonator on. I was smiling the whole way home. Cost was $120. Anyone considering this because you want more sound, it just sounds 10x better. Its loud compared to having the resonator on, but its not overly loud, its about the normal kind of loud for an exhaust. So now my setup is stock pipes, no resonator, and 14851's to finish it off.
For those wondering, there is no drone at idle or cruising. Just sounds great on acceleration, as I explained above.
