Car: 2000 Audi A4 1.8t
Problem: Oil temperature gauge not working, sits on the left at 150 all the time
Question: What should I do? Is there a way to test if the problem lies in the cluster or in the sensor itself, without buying a new sensor to find out? I searched but didnt seem to find what i was looking for. Everything else on the car seems fine and all of the other gauges read normally, I have no oil level warning lights on or anything to give me an indication of it being the sensor (since i believe the temp/level sending unit are one sensor on the 2000's) So just thought i would ask what you all thought, and if you had any input. Thank you very much in advance!
