huge bummer- dealer repair time?

i just got my car a few weeks ago. tonight, my friend backed into it with his jeep that has a massive trailer hitch, and it needs a lot of work. minimally, a new grill, bumper, hood, right quarter panel, radiator (leaking), right headlight, intake (cracked) and probably a bunch of other stuff in the front end of the car. anyone had a similar accident? how much did it cost to fix and how long did it take to be fully repaired? must i bring it to the dealer or could an auto body do as good of a job for less money? i will not be paying a cent, but i feel badly making my friend pay more than is necessary.

go through insurance. you're looking at thousands of dollars worth of work there

i agree, insurance is the way to go, it wasnt even your fault!!!or at least have your buddy pay for the damages if he doesnt want his premium to increase
