What is the sound difference between going with 2.5 inch piping and 2.25 inch piping. I will be cutting my resonator off and running it to a magnaflow (10415 for 2.25 piping) or (10416 for 2.5 piping)

How much louder/quieter should I expect either to be?

The resonators will be cut and thats where the piping will come in use all the way back to the magnaflows.

just had mine done today with the same setup and its really nice!! throaty and deep yet not too loud inside, you will def. notice about 5 to 10 horsepower feel. its a great setup for this car.

Overall the question still stands.... 2 1/4 inch tubing? or go up to 2 1/2???

its not going to be noticeable. A quarter of an inch isn't going to do all that much more.

im running 2.5 custom straight pipes into dual remus exhaust pipes. Its loud, but a nice tone, and not ricey at all just super pure.
