Above is a picture with fog lights in place. Sorry it is a little dark in that area. All body colored parts will require painting - it is not possible to provide an exact match without having the vehicle.

I suspect you will get a foglight warning if you disconnect your bulbs and don't run them. There may be a way to disable this with VAG-COM or alternately you may put resistors in series. Of course if you retain the fog lights you will not have this issue.

As for pricing, our pricing is considerably lower than the previous importer. This combined with an additional 10% discount is a considerable savings. Keep in mind that this a premium product and all body styling components and wheels are manufactured in Germany to absolutely the highest standards. Oettinger quality and fitment is legendary. Compared with other premium offerings (Abt, etc.) I believe you will find our pricing is quite good.

thanks for the reply. My concern is that w/your front skirt and no side skirts it will "hang" lower than the sides and have a funny look to it. That is why I wanted to see a pic w/just the front skirt/grill w/out the side skirts. I wouldn't buy the side skirts as $ is the only issue right now...

I wish I had a picture without the sides but at the moment all the pictures we have include side skirts. As our customer base grows, we will be trying to collect pictures to put in a Gallery section of our website to help with questions like yours.

Personally, I think the front would look perfectly fine without the sides. But I guess my opinion is a touch biased.

I love this stuff but its just not realisticly priced. We do not drive ferrari's and porsche's or at least i certainly don't. Yes these prices are a lot lower than when CEC imported there stuff but they were an even bigger rip off. I remember i wanted the springs and they wanted 1200 for the springs installed. LOL. Please see what you can do do get your product more competitively priced with your competitors because i would love to get the full kit on my car. But i can't justify spending prob 4k or 5k.

Yeah it's $3995 with shipping ground to MN for everything they offer on the body styling page. with the 10% discount. I really like it but 4k plus paint and install if you can't do it yourself! just for looks. It is alot of dough to cough up.

Please see what you can do do get your product more competitively priced with your competitors because i would love to get the full kit on my car. But i can't justify spending prob 4k or 5k.

We have already lowered our prices considerably and there is simply no more room to go lower. Our North American prices are the lowest prices that the Oettinger product is being sold for anywhere in the world. Our new prices, while still higher than the inexpensive kits, are very close to the mid-tier products which are widely regarded as not being equivalent to the Oettinger product (and other high tier manufacturers.)

Our closest direct competitor is Abt. We are not direct competitors with the lower quality kit manufacturers and our product and prices should not be directly compared. The Oettinger product is for those that demand the best in quality, styling, and performance.

Most people wouldn't buy every part on our body styling page. The front skirt with fogs, rear skirt, and side skirts would be $2369. After the 10% discount the price would be $2132.20.

People really need to remember two things: WHERE Oettinger is based, and the market/consumers they're targeting. When you buy an Oetty front end, you can bet your ass it's gonna fit perfectly - which is much more than DTM can say for their stuff, and that can make a big difference for certain people. Furthermore, it is quality crafstmanship that will stand up to the long-term wear and tear much better than lower quality brands. With car mods, it pays for itself to throw down a little more initially so you can avoid a full replacement - often times, I've found a higher quality part will outlast the lifetime of TWO, lower quality parts that end up costing more.

The other thing is, Oettinger is a European-based company, and as such they face significantly different distribution costs, among other things. In the end, a business has revenue, and it has expenses. You cannot expect a company to just "lower prices" if it isn't feasible in their business model, end of story.

I suggest the people who feel it's over-priced, stop worrying so much about it and go buy a Votex or DTM (I am the happy owner of Votex equipment, myself). However, if you can afford it, or if your priority is high quality, then Oettinger is for you.

I just can't stand when people try to make blanket criticisms about a higher quality brand just for doing what almost every business does, in every market, for just about every product - separate themselves based on QUALITY.

You do not need to use any filler plate at all with the front grille. Sorry that all of the pictures show it with the Euro filler plate but it is not required.

The front grille works perfectly with a standard A4 bumper - but it is not compatible with an S-line bumper. You can, of course, run the Oettinger front skirt and front grille combination on an S-line.

Although I am not a B7er (I have a B6 USP), I do have a bit of experience trying to source a top-quality German tuning body kit. I recently completed a full Abt Sportsline conversion on my car (ground effects, grill, interior) and it took 6 months to find all the pieces, paint them, and install it because there are NO importers anymore due to the crappy euro/dollar exchange rate... I imported in my side skirts from the UK and it wasn't cheap.

Trust me, if you can source a quality German body kit from a US importer, do it. It may be expensive but the lack of aggravation will make it all worthwhile.

My $.02, take advantage of this deal before it doesn't exist anymore (like the previous Abt importer)....

When you stand above the rest you don't need to undercut your pricing. No reason to devalue your company and product when you offer the best in terms of styling and manufacturing.
