    Question Our Gas Tanks?

    Does anyone know what our gas tanks are made of? I believe there's a hole in the tank and I will be needing to patch it up but i have no idea what kind of stuff to use.

    duct tape or bubble gum works.

    No... no gas thieves... but i have a brother who knows how to mount my subwoofer box to the gas tank...


    unfortunately, i went to hawaii and didnt get a chance to install my audio setup... so when i got home, it was all setup by my bro, but when i drove it smells like gas in the car and is starting to give me a headache.

    I can't hate cause i appreciate the effort he took, but i just need to make sure I patch it up so the fumes go away.

    Minus the Bubble Gum, Silly Putty, Duct Tape... what other options should I look at? I was thinking Epoxy. That stuff is pretty durable. Any real suggestions?

    Whatever you do, don't skimp out on the repair. You never want to mess w/ gasoline and the chance for it to catch on fire.
