After 8 months of no bath for my car... And some new springs/painted wheels...

I finally got the chance to go out and give her a bath! Won't last long since it is supposed to rain tonight and we live down a 1 mile long dirt driveway.... Anywho... Droped and cleaned and painted shoes! Anything else I should do besides S4 bumper and FMIC?! Looking for suggestions!

I love the blacked out look, the B6 wheels look better than they usually do on B5's. Did you tire shine those?

I usually keep the car waxed to the max so cleanup is usually quick...

As for the land... 12+ acres, 2,200 sf house with a large garage and a barn... In the barn, there is enough parking space for 4 cars and in the garage is also 4 spaces. The house garage of course is a 2 car garage... We used to have 3 horses but they got sold due to medical problems for me and mother... She just broke her leg last week... On some days, we have a great view of Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens. At least used to. No longer have that view due to the trees growing... There is enough room in our back yard to shoot my .45 and AR-15 out the back door... The land itself is kind of rare... We live on some land that is known as Mima Mounds... Very few places in the world have this... Last I heard it was worth $85k an acre here and a couple of years ago it was actually $92k per acre... Parents should have sold it then because it was estimated at about $1.2M for this land... Now it is worth about $780k... They bought it for about $380k though about 7 years ago...

what did you do to black out your intake mani?

Wrinkle paint for the intake manifold and the intake above the headlight... Then flat black BBQ paint for the throttle body... Of course a B6 coolant resivoir... I am going to do the valve cover in the same finish as the intake manifold, only red in color... Oh, I also wrinkled the power steering res cover... Just the square peice in the middle.

Wrinkle is basically bullet proof... I have dropped stuff on it, hit stuff, dragged stuff across it and it still looks brand new... Of course don't do that stuff before driving the car for a week... I think baking it on helpe out a LOT... Prep was just removing the manifold and washing it with a Simple Green mixture. Then lay on the wrinkle paint sort of thick and put it under a heat lamp until you could handle it... Run the engine up to operating temp for a while a few times... I just drove to and from work about 1-2 weeks (25 miles) without touching it and it baked it good...

However, I don't know if that was me you saw... I haven't been any further north than Tacoma Mall with my car... But then again, I get lost at times! This place has GROWN since I have been stationed in Oklahoma...
