oem parts or good replacement ones

So I have a couple suspension links that are faulty on the right side (3 of em) and need replacing because they have some play in them. My right CV boot is torn as well. Anyone know where I can find some replacements for them without going to the stealers and buying them? Also my front brakes are warped slightly and needs new pads so they need replacing and I was thinking of Awe's Brake Overhaul kit with hawk pads, powerslot rotors and stainless lines. This car is my DD and might never see a track so there's no need for a BBK. Any info would be helpful thanks

order the control arms (assuming thats what you need) fromt ECS, great people and good prices. order the axles from autopart international, we use them as one of our parts suppliers at my job and they have awesome prices on a lot of parts you wouldnt think they have.

    xj, covered the suspension

    as for brakes
    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=186185
    ($299 shipped)
(but lets say you want $50 upgrade)
    =$350

pads from tire rack (Hawk performance)
    $139.00 (Fronts)
    $58.00 (Rear)
    say $15 shipping?
    =$212

    www.ecstuning.com
    6 ss brake lines
    $134.42 + 10 shipping
    =$144.42

or Goodridge from Tirerack ~$164+shipping (but if you order your pads, etc) or AWE for 155.95+shipping

    www.ecstuning.com
    Pentosin - Super DOT4 Brake Fluid ES#602
    10.21 X 2 = 20.42 + 10 ship
    = 30.42

    Total = $736.84

    Awe-tuning= $749.95 +shipping (Mintex)
    829.95 + shipping (Hawk Pads)

Now, the point of this is not bash any vendor, and as you can see from the numbers AWE is pretty competitive, and they provide great customer service but you can still find it cheaper if you take the time to piece it together (~$100), I've also included approx separate shipping on individual items to have a conservative estimate.

Dont be a fool, do the math before you buy.

    PS

I personally think the braided lines are a little over kill especially for a daily driver, but if I crash due to my lines popping, I'll make sure I come back and change my statement.

Re: oem parts or good replacement ones

Alright thanks a ton for the links and info guys. Only reason I'm semi AWE biased is I've been working with them for a few years on my TT and now S4 and their shop is about 25 minutes from me so it's an easy junket down there which I pass nearly everyday as well. I was really hoping that I'd be able to save some money for some coilovers, sways and exhaust but I gotta fix whats wrong before replacing whats ok :P
