    if i vent my sunroof more than likely it closes itself, and sometimes if i open it, when i decide to shut it and turn the switch it just doesnt do anything.....

    anyone?

    very common.

    dust gets into the contacts and the switch fails...or sometimes acts like it has a mind of it's own.

    if you're under warranty they'll change the switch.

    thanks gents.
    our local audi dealer is filled with the biggest shitbags on the face of the earth.
    they told me it wasnt a covered item.
    along with a broken glovebox.

    i used to hold down my key to close my windows and the sunroof would close and re open!
