You don't need the 3.0 carrier. The B5 S4 calipers and carriers are one piece. Just buy the calipers and they bolt right in.

100% sure. The mounting location for the carriers is the same on the 1.8 and 3.0. The difference is in the carriers to make room for the difference in rotor sizes.

Umm if I am remembering correctly they arent the same. A friend of mine who has a 3.0 Just tried to swap some B5 S4 brakes on and had no luck what so ever. Hopefully somebody can chime in with some more intel on the matter.
