Brakes different on FWD vs. Quattro

Ok my brother bought 2 sets or rear back drilled and slotted rotors for his 99 a4 quattro and i have a 98 a4 FWD yet it looks like my rotors have the hub that holds the wheel in place on the rotor while his has a separate hub where the lugs go in. Are the brakes different?
