Help! Stoptech or Porsche for a B5 S4??

I'm trying to decide on a Big Brake Kit. I've got a chipped B5 S4 w/ Bilstein pss9 suspension. I'm leaning towards the Stoptech 332mm kit or the Porsche 993TT kit that ECS tuning sells. The car will see track time w/ club racing events. Any thoughts on a brake setup. I'm trying to order something ASAP...I haven't been able to locate anything used.

My buddy put StopTech on his S4 and never looked back. Good Hunting.

I'm also looking for a BBK. It seems the ECS kit is more for bling/street driving. I hear the rotors crack with track use. Sucks though as this is the most affordable kit. If you plan on doing track days your probably better off with the stoptech's. If you can wait one of the vendors is working on groupbuy for a BBK. Check the GB forum.

I agree if you must choose between the two bbk's you listed, go with the stoptechs 100%... if you must choose a BBK in general Stasis Alcons are the way to go!

Alcon's are NICE!!! Very pricey, though. I can get both the Porsche and Stoptech for $2000.

I haven't heard anything negative about the ECS BBK. I'm also in the market for a kit and was seriously considering the ECS setup. As for the rotors cracking, I'm guessing the cross drilled setups are the ones that are cracking? I've never heard about a slotted setup cracking.

I was searching around and read about the rotors cracking. Not sure if it was here or over at AW. Do a search for BBK's on AW and there should be lots of info.
