FS: Authetic 20" Carlsson Ultralight 1/16 with Tires

    Front: et 40 20"x 8.5" with 255/35/20
    Back: et 45 20"x 9.5" with 275/35/20

I have 4 Authentic 20" Carlsson 1/16 UL rims with tires. They do have curb rash all around but could probably be fixed for ~100 each. As you can see in the pictures you have to be within a feet or so to see it. It's not that bad from far away. I wanted 19"s instead of 20"s so I'm trying to get rid of these and I got these by mistake. I just wanted to see if I should send them back to the seller or if there is interest on the forums. The tires look like they are in great condition but I have no idea how to measure them. There are still some of those pointy rubber things that come on the tires when they are new. You guys KNOW how expensive these rims are. The original owner bought them for $7200 on a S-class two years ago.

For LOTS more pictures of actual wheels.... (no 56k)

I hate it when people don't provide good pics so I'm going to be a picture whore haha. After looking at the tires on of the rear tires had a nail in it, but I don't think it affects it as it still holds air.

Let's start with the front rims/tires....

I have no idea how to measure tire % but I"m pretty sure that these tires are fairly new.

    sizes

These are VERY close up pics of the curb rash. I wanted to provide an honest decription so I zoomed in a lot. It actually doesn't look that bad from farther away as you can see in the other pics.

    Other front rim

    Rear rims/tires

The nail - it's still holding air so it's probably not an issue. :nix:

    Rims sizes, offset

    A lot of tread left

    other rear rim

Just to give an idea next to the car.

Looks pretty good but kind of big for a c-class. :nix: These aren't chrome btw for all the chrome haters.

A set of these is on sale on ebay brand new for $8100. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ksid=p3907.m29 Get used ones for A LOT cheaper. Send me offers and let's see if we can work something out. I'll probably have some lugs and adapters available too. :y Or if you have 19" rims for trade let me know... :D

    A set of 19"s on MikeSSw203's c230.

I am a mod at myMBonline and active at mbworld and I'm trustworthy.

    $3000 + shipping OBO.
Looking to get rid of these fast so shoot me an offer.

This is a prime example of how you should post for sale threads, full disclosure and a bunch of pics depicting the pros and cons. If I were in the market for these I would not hesitate to buy them, bump for you !

Do you think these would fit on an E63?

Thank you! I hate when people post a one sentense description with blurry pictures or no pictures at all. I try my best to show the best description with all the damage shown so there is no misinformation. :)

Yes, I think the actual rims will fit on the E63 but you might need to run thinner tires. The tires I'm giving with the rims are kind of fat and made for the s-class. In addition to new tires, you might also need to get a Carlsson E-class kit which would be around $200 dollars. So just to give an idea on all extra costs for the E63 = thinner tires & maybe carlsson adapter kit.

be careful of low-profile tires with a patch, also keep an eye on it as the tread wears down.

(not to mention i wouldn't trust most tire places with wheels like that... and i work in one hahaha)

sick wheels though, free bump for you

Carlsson makes rims so it fits on all mercedes sedans but with the correct lugs and adapters (sort of like spacers). I'm not sure if you'll need any, but I know for the c-class you do need some. I think they just do it this way so it will fit a various amount of mercedes cars.

why do you have to be careful? if they patch from the inside and as long as the nail isn't in the shoulders of the tire, structually it will be fine. i've had numerous tires patched, and even had one tire with 3 patches... never had a blow out, always held air, and wore down fine just like the others without patches.

patching from the inside is more safe, and better than those plugs gas stations use and charge you 15 bucks for.

first of all -- to the OP, congrats on the sale.

and i said be careful of patches on tires with a profile that low because if you for some reason loose air, you risk f-ing up the patch job - even if it's from the inside.

normally i'd agree with you - but i've seen it with my own two eyes.. you see all kinds of crazy/stupid shit come off of people's cars... had a lady come in yesterday bitching about a "one time drainplug" we supposedly put in her car... but that the last shop to change her oil took out and put back in... another guy cussed out my boss for telling him we couldnt patch his tire because it had a 1/2" thick lag bolt through the sidewall and almost back out through the tread...
