All, thanks for the compliments and feedback.

Wow, very good eye. I’m very aware of the height difference but just haven’t had the time to fix it. That’s actually the quarter inch I’m planning for the lowering, but just for the drivers side.

No, ECS 2 piece. I’m getting the rears installed this weekend. Had to wait on my Carbotech Bobcat pads. Great eye on the S4 badge. You are only the second person to notice this subtle change.

For the strongest wheel, you want a fully forged 2 or 3 piece that is NOT a machined wheel like yours. A wheel that is forged INTO its final shape by a forging die is stronger than a wheel cut from a forged billet. Forged BBS wheels are made this way.
Oh...OK, whatever

Reason: I was watching an episode of cops where some guy stole this girls purse and ran off. He took out her credit cards and dropped the wallet in the planter right behind your car. They found him on the sidewalk which you were probably standing on and they drove up the sidewalk with like four cars at about 45 mph! Sweet pix yo! lmao
Lol, sweet...infamous shooting location!

Another good eye. I did this a few years ago and posted on here and on AW, but didn't get much feedback. As far as I'm aware, no one else has done this for some reason. I like it though...thanks.

As far as the wheels and the drop, if you lower it anymore you're gonna rub in the rear. A +30 with a 245 on there is going to rub. There is no doubt about it.
I also think that you increased your total wheel weight as your went with a wheel that is lighter but then tossed on a heavier tire. Channa is the one to chime in if this is true or not.
Nevertheless, nice looking car and nice looking wheels!
You may be right about the rubbing, but I hope you’re wrong...I'll let you know. As noted above, I'm already a quarter inch lower on the right side and no rubbing. As for the tire weight, the Bridgestone weighs 27lbs vs Michelin Pilot Sport 2s at 24lbs. I mulled this over a lot before buying. The PS2s are $140 more per tire...worth the $560 difference for the set? Maybe. I got the RE760s at Tireworks for $200 a piece. Also, I installed ECS Tuning lightweight rotors. The fronts saved me 10 lbs per side. Once I install the rears, I'll drop another 2 whole lbs. :) A loss of 22lbs of unsprung, rotational mass. Add in the total wheel weight loss of 12lbs, I'm at 32 pounds. My new wheels weight 12lbs less total. I've now got 44lbs to play with. Tireworks here also offers a 30 day drive and return policy. If you don't like a tire, you can get a different set, full refund on old set.
Stock wheel- 27lbs x 4 = 108lbs, Vellano- 24lbs x 4 = 96lbs
Stock front rotor- 25lbs x 2 = 50lbs, ECS- 15lbs x 2 = 30lbs
Stock rear rotor- 13lbs x 2 = 26lbs, ECS- 12lbs x 2 = 24lbs
-------------------------------------------------------------
Stock Total = 184lbs Now = 150lbs
Difference of 34lbs
Whew!
