Anyone hear/know of these guys?

If yes, any gripes, complaints, recommendations, praise? I'm in the works to getting my APR ECU mod and supposedly these guys are the closes to me that can "mod" my ECU.

I was going to pick up some spacers from them earlier this year. They seem to be pretty cool. I dont have any other input on them.

ngp is really good, the guys i know from there are awesome and they have been around forever and still have a great reputation. i wouldnt hesitate referring anyone to them ever.

Did they just "flash" your ECU or did they physically install something on it?

Another thumbs up for NGP. They pride themselves on customer service and have installed my TIP, software, and coilovers with no issues. Highly recommended.

Got pretty much all of my work done there except for a Revo flash. They definitely have great customer service skills and are pretty quick to get the work done. Only complaint though is that I had them adjust my coilovers to raise it up a bit (was getting a lot of rubbing) and the back is now a little lower than the front. They said that the front would settle a little with the engine weight, but I don't think it is going to settle enough. However, it was a free adjustment so I can't be too upset.

That's correct. NGP just flashed it. You can have as much as 4 programs installed, I believe, and you can switch between the programs via the cruise control stalk. I got stock and 93 octane. APR offers 'valet', anti-theft, etc.. details at their site. 30 mins and it was done.

I hear NGP are really good, I do know one guy that got his coilovers done there, they didnt tighten down one of the wheels properly which resulted in catastrophic failure, causing extensive damage. If i recall correctly NGP would not pay for the damage caused.

That is the ONLY bad thing ive heard about NGP. everything else is praise.

I was informed by the Nate (NGP rep) that there is no program for chip+exhaust. He stated that the only time you would need a reflash is if you include the piggies into the equation...this would be for the APR program yes?

Also, how are you likeing your APR chip?

I've asked around, my two contacts have stated that neither GIAC or APR does any sort of extra programming for stock S4 or stage 1 + exhaust S4. Its only once you add a piggie that GIAC and APR will configure it.

Just as future reference, APR is good for stage 1 and 2, but once you hit stage 3, switch to GIAC or shop around for another chip. Apparently, APR doesn't do to well with K04s...as I am told.

I'm a fan of NGP. They have done me well.

To clarify, that statement about "no longer doing chips" is incorrect. That varies by ECU, some cars/some years do not have enough on-board memory to store all the programs, so they still require chipping.

The labor rate in Lorton is $90/hr. Haven't been up to the other shop in a while, just call them.

+1 for NGP again. Took the S to them again for some minor work; engine mounts + rear wheel bearings.
