Q:Does anyone know how these will look with only halogen lights combo?



They seem a bit pricey anyone have better pricing than $400+?

Ignore the price for a second and tell me what your opinion is for these lights Overall.

One of arguably the most distinctive visual accent ever to come out for any European vehicle. Total of (10) L.E.D. lights (5 per side) can be wired in place of standard headlight Daytime Running Lights. We recommend using the S-6 bumper with factory provisions for the LEDs, but with some creativity and patience (or a reputable body shop), the standard A6 or S-Line bumpers can be modified to allow fitment of the LEDs. vagparts should have them for around 300. unfortunately its not a simple job to fit them

Working on this now for our A4, unfortunately it's a slow project, won't have pics for a while. Not easy fitting in an A4, but possible. Won't look as good though with halogens though because the lights definitely have a light blue cast.

the lights are easy to mount once your willing to cut into your bumper, its really up to you how you want to mount it, you can use screws and carefully drill into the light housing at an angle so you dont end up inside where the LED's are or so the butt of your screws arent visible. the hardest part is creating the grille and in my case figuring out how i want to wire it since i dont have the DRLs. mine will be done shortly as the grilles are being created now, fogs are already on the bumper and im still trying to figure out if i want to have them with the fog light switch or run an independant switch so they are on when i please. pics in a few weeks

overall definately a really good project, takes some time and patience but worth it

id log a diy for them if i had a set of the led's to compare to the bumper to see exactly what i gotta work with. i really want to see them on another a4 before i go nuts.
