headlights: ecodes S4 bi, stock halogens.. which bulbs! so confusing!! helP!

    So now im completely lost........

all i wanna have is a set of nice headlights with XENON (HID) PROJECTOR LENSE...

so now i find out that both single and bi-xenon ecodes only take D1S bulbs...... which dont come at 8000K color temperature... is that true? .. shitty

S4 bixenons... no little running bulb, but still a nice set, but ALSO only for D1S bulbs??.... huh??

so if i ever wanna have a 8000K bulb.... i need to stick to my stock halogen headlights and run H7 bulb?... no other choice?... i COULD joey mod em.. but still that xenon lense makes all the difference in the cutoff and the clarity of the output....

whats the solution?... or maybe i got something wrong? tell me people!!!!!!

    thanks

show me physical, hard, photographed evidence that the xenon projectors on our cars provide any clearer or "better" cutoff than our halogen housings and i'll believe you...

till then i say that there is no discernible difference, and any speculation that there is is complete b.s. (keep in mind i am talking about our cars, and our cars only. running HID's in older cars with projectors, or in cars with no projectors period can yield totally different results...)

get the VVME 8k kit that you know you want, joey mod, save yourself tons of money - and be happy.

the ONLY reason to get ecodes is that they corner lamp still looks HELLA better than even joey modded housings, and it's total baller status. oh yeah, and city lights... which you can do when you joey mod.

A higher color temperature number doesn't necessarily mean more light.

You'll get the most usable light out of 5000K or 6000K bulbs, as noon-time day light is 5500K.

Plus the 5000K or 6000K will be more white, as opposed to purple-ish. Unless that's what you're going for. Then by all means!

i know about the ratio of color temperature and light output... more K = less output... i just really like how 8000K's look and they are still hell of a lot brighter than halogen bulbs
