    Am I an idiot? What the heck is this light for?

    So I just got an S4 and can't figure out what the inside light on my headlights does. The smaller city light is obvious, but what does the larger lightbulb do? I can't seem to turn it on....

    its a DRL...
    Daytime Runing HEadlight...
    I have it too, but although I've turned it on,
    (on the right of your light switch there is a button that says DRL, put it to "I" not "0" ) it doesnt seem to work for me...

    Try to turn it on as I told you, and tell me the results...

    Oh, the light switch should be turned off, and do this at day not night

    ^^correct it is a drl..you can turn it off via vag or if your car has the buttons for it (next to headlight switch)

    I don't know about your S4, but on my S4 there is a small knob that you have to turn to have it off all the time next to the headlight knob.

    you have to set them to on, the switch is between the headlight switch and the steering wheel column

    i got an 08 2.0t and my car never even came with the switch to turn DRL on and off, mines off by default. not that i mind that at all, i like it, but yeah im not sure y. My friend has an 07 2.0t and he has the swtich... hmmm
