Wink YESSSS! They fit with no issues!!

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
OK as you know, I was wondering if a set of 19x9 RS6 wheels would fit the rear of my car. They are 35 et's and after a long ordeal and being told "NO" by some folks and shops, I had them mounted by Discount Tire and sure enough.....THEY FIT! I have them on my 235/35's which stretches the tire alittle and NO RUBBING

Happy with the results! here are afew quick pics...

I'll try and take better pic tomorrow since the lighting is down...Now i'm thinking adding spacers to pull out the front and the rear a tad bit more

I always wanted some of those. Looks nice. I don't know why you were too worried about fitment. It has been done before. Even lower than you.

Well, I looked and searched the boards and it seems nobody has ran these in a 35et and places that sells these wheels highly DONT recommend these wheels as a possible fitment. Plus some people here said it wouldnt work...I didnt want to waste money and be stuck w/ em' LOL!

Now I just need to work on V.2 of my car which includes new front bumper, black roof, exhaust etc..should be done in about 1 month!

*may powdercoat the wheels gloss black...havent decided yet

I hear you. No worries now. Your car looks good. I was actually going to trade my rims plus cash for some of those a while back. You should paint them the color they came on the RS6.

prolly not...but then again they "could" but not sure if I'd like the look...I will put some spacers upfront to balance it out tho. maybe an 8mm spacer.

That's what I was thinking. You might get a surprise the first time you hit a dip or a bump while turning. Or, you might not hear it, but your wheel well liners may get a little shredded eventually.

If it rubs, just adjust your camber in a little bit.

only if I hit a dip really hard....I already trimed out the inner carpet prior to getting these wheels. I adjusted the camber before using derrick's DIY post and if needed, I can do it again, but I'm stoked about the outcome!

    Bumping an old thread...
I think some people posted in his thread asking if these would fit- Do 19x9 fit in ET32? What about with a slightly wider tire? Maybe 245 instead? This amount of stretch makes me nervous. If neccessary I could definitely roll the fenders a little bit.

Yes, but just barely. They'll fit fine in the rear, but you'll probably rub in the front while cornering depening on how low your car is. Go with a 235/35 or a 225/35/ to minimize it.

What about with a slightly wider tire? Maybe 245 instead? This amount of stretch makes me nervous.
How does it make you nervous? A 225 on a 9 is barely stretched, and a 235 on a 9 is not stretched at all. You can probably run a 245 on an et32 9" wide wheel in the rear, but you might need to camber them in a little bit.

If neccessary I could definitely roll the fenders a little bit.
No you can't, the rear fenders are already rolled from the factory. You can gain a few mm's in the front though. You can pull your fenders, but that takes a lot of work and can ruin your paint, so you need balls of brass and the know-how to do it.
