I mean in terms of engine mounts, which are stiffer the rs4 or 034 street density? i would like to get new engine mounts for my DD and i don't want track density. Also i would like to know how each of them feel vs stock engine mounts.

I believe they are fairly comparable. Either way you can't go wrong, since 99% of these cars are at the point of where the MM's are so soft, even if they have not punctured they should be replaced. RS4 or Street Density 034 are overkill if you're stock IMO.

Grab 034 Street Density and you'll be set.

Guess I'll just order OEM replacements then.

I wouldn't say they are overkill for stock. Even stock, there is a lot of engine movement, and there probably isn't a big price difference between stock and 034 mounts.

    OEM - $34
    034 - $95
Big enough difference for me. I can replace both motor mounts and still have money left over to buy a snub mount or new OEM tranny mounts.

I'm rollin the 034 Street Density mounts. Other than when I have my A/C on, I couldn't be more happy with them.

Definitely a worthwhile upgrade in my book, I don't think I'd ever go back.

I run streets in my own A4 and they are better than OEM & RS4 units.

Also as I posted in the S4 forum.I will honour the old price of 75US/engine mount and 50US/transmission mount but you only have 2 days to act because on June 15th there will be a price increase across the board.

Re: RS4 vs 034 street density

I still think I'm going to buy OEM. Having a stock engine I see no need for upgraded mounts yet. Just trying to get back to the new car feel after 90k miles.

    +2

Get street mounts, you can feel the difference when you're throwing the car about, the motor sits stiffer in the engine bay, mind you I replaced my oem mounts when they were still good. Its substantial enough for me to highly recommend the 034 mounts.

Also I recommend purchasing via Issam, I purchased a good amount of stuff from him, he takes care of his customers.
