Black Infiniti M45 - Huge turn around

Alright well this was a very rewarding detail. The big black M45 definitely needed a lot of paint correction and I went pretty hard core. The owner just picked up the car and it was full of swirls, random deep scratches, and buffer trails. Polishing removed all of the swirlmarks but only 75% of the RIDS. I hope he enjoys his new M45! I had not dressed the wheel wells in the after pictures but I did them right after.

holy crap -- It never ceases to amaze me how bad a dealer can f/u the paint. Great resuts. How the dealer's detailer can leave a car like that, I have no idea.

That is some of the worst paint i have ever seen. I don't even know badly you would have to abuse a cars paint to have that happen.

Great job man a great results.

Great job. The question is - will it stay that way? I had my black Z4 detailed b/c it had the same problems. Couldnt even look at the hood - it would get me dizzy from the haze.
picked up the car from the detailer - looked great. Few hours driving in the sun - the swirls from the wet sanding started to appear - like the polish/compound got baked or burned off
I wonder what happened and how to fix it permanently

Sounds like whoever detailed your car just threw some heavy glaze on it to hide the defects. When done properly, the paint will stay like that until you physically marr it again.

    nice work on the exterior.

is it me or does the interior panels look blotchy? it just seems like there are shiny and dull spots in the door panels and the dash area. what did you use for the panels? does the product stay shiny like that or does it dry up to a matte finish?
