Top speed?

I was wondering how fast you've gone in your car. I hit 150 and backed off with my brother and a full car on a trip to Okla. 2 weeks ago in Utah. I really think it would've maxed out and then some. Felt really powerful and didn't take long to get there. I was amazed. Now I know a few people don't ever want to max out there car so please don't leave negative responses..

i have done 150 three times now but no more than that. car feels very strong up there and im sure can push on beyond that

+1 to 160 on the way to Vegas. I've seen over 160 but not by much and not sure of the exact speed... I kind of had to focus on things other than the speedometer. Felt real strong up there for sure. Wish I had a closed road to test it out because I don't feel right or very safe on public roads... even if they're empty. I almost hit a deer head on at 120 on the way to houston in my 350z. That would have done some damage...

I took it a bit over 140... maybe around 150, I really didn't have the balls to look down to see how fast it actually was going.

Not in an S4, but waaay back in the days, went 230km/h (143 mp/h) in a buddy's INTEGRA.
As you might have guessed, I did not feel safe. lol

140 at night with the windows open chasin my friend.. Our cars are about the same (the S4's a bit quicker) but he pulled from first, I pulled from 2nd cause I didn't know that road was so empty.

Oh my windows were open, something got in my eye and I backed off.

nice open interstate...runnin away from some friends haha...the car had a little bit left but not much

did 174 (GPS confirmed) in my pop's Z06 on a dead straight & empty backroad. it was my first experience with "tunnel vision." huuuge rush, I had to pull over down the road to calm down.

What is the B7 S4 limited to? I figured it was 155 with most european cars, are ya'll doin above this due to chipped ecu's (thus speed limiter removed)? Also is there a diff for the B7 & B6 and the S4 vs RS4? Thanks, just wondering :)

Yeah I would think the only thing being limited is the Revs via the "rev limiter". If the car can get above 155 and you aren't maxed out RPM wise, theoretically you should be able to go faster. I've seen 160 and it wanted to keep pulling. I have no idea what the revs were though - going too fast to notice.
