    CPO Question... techs? dealership knowlegde?

Sooo... tonight I realized my passenger side front window will not roll up... I'm assuming it's the regulator assembly.. it's making some nasty noises.

I believe that's covered by the CPO warranty... but my question is... the audi store closest to me is a good half hour to 45 mins in traffic... can I pull the door panel and use visegrips to lock the window in place w/o voiding any type of warranty? I dont want to drive all that way with wind noise if I don't have to... and.. it's supposed to rain tomorrow. :-(

just don't wanna take it all apart and get the window back up... only to get there and be told "we wont fix it b/c you touched it" type thing..

    thanks everyone...

Pull up the glass and tape it to the window frame.

the glass is completely in the door... no way to grab it, wo taking the panel off and lifting it that way... and probably clamping it to the frame. It's not a big deal for me to do it... just don't wanna void anything cpo wise..

    thanks
