Wutsup guys? Unfortunately I can not search right now because Im at work and it wont allow me for some reason so if this was covered/asked Im sorry. But i was looking to change my horn. My friend has a Ford Explorer Sport Trac with a very interesting horn but hes getting rid of it. My two questions aree. A) Are horns generally universal? Should it fit in my car? and B) where do i find the horn in our car? Thanks

    Re: the horn

depends on how handy you are. horns are pretty simple devices to interface, mostly. you'll need to plug in power (fused, of course), ground, and an activation line. the activation wire is where it gets tricky, and you'll most likely need wiring/soldering knowledge and no fear of cutting wires under the hood. if you know your way around a multimeter, this is probably doable.

oh yeah, to find the horn, stick your head under the hood and have a friend hit the horn button. a few times.

I'm not trying to lend any expertise or experience, just providing links to what I've seen in the past:
