USP To S4 Grille Question

I have a 05 USP and want to change out the stock upper and lower grilles it came with to the upper and lower OEM S4 Blackout grilles.

After searching I assume the OEM S4 upper grille with fit with no issues. Correct?

As for the lower grille, I do not have the stock USP grille anymore due to a minor accident. After searching I got the impression that you need that USP lower grille trim for the S4 grill to fit inside of it? Or will the S4 grille work the same as the upper?

Just wanted to verify so I can order both of these and have a shop install them and make it work with minor fabrication. TIA and I appreciate all help regarding this issue.

Upper will fit no problem.

Lower needs to be trimmed to fit. I don't believe you need the USP lower trim frame.

Easier thing to do is to get the blackout lower USP grill. ECS sells it.

upper fits no modification.
lower needs to be trimmed to fit. Its possible to do it without USP trim, but you'll have to rig up some sort of trim of your own to make it look right. using USP trim would be much easier.
