Blackout or Black Pearl filler plate on my DTM front? **photoshopped!!**

I want to get rid of the license plate holes up front... I was thinking of just getting the blackout filler plate, but some of my friends think it won't match the chrome trim off my current grill. I don't want to switch the grill, cause honestly I kinda like the chrome trim on the grill. Any opinions if the blackout grill won't match, or should i just get another black pearl with chrome trim filler plate?

Here's the blackout option.. threw a photoshop of the blackout grill as well for kicks... which I think I might consider?!?

So why dont you just get another normal filler plate?

Are you speaking of the filler with the black or blck chrome accents? I am not 100% on the color.

If you like the chrome, just replace with filler w/chrome accents, would look nice.

i think blackout would look fine... black pearl would be a little much IMO. but if it were me, i would just get an rs4 grill or a titanium package grill, which i think look great especially on your color

sorry, i didn't clarify... it's between just getting another black pearl with chrome trim filler plate to replace the one I already have and retain the look, or getting the blackout for a slightly different look.

The RS4 grill doesn't fit the DTM bumper from what i have read. The titanium is something I might consider. Any pics especially on a similar colored car?

Ive ordered the blackout grille, then Im going to replace the trim on it with the chrome trim i have now. That will give me a black on black filler plate, a black s-line grille, and chrome trim to match the windows.

Yeah actually I think you're right... here's a pic of the titanium grill which looks really sweet on light colored cars

Just do the black pearl with the chrome strips. Looks classy and matches up. The other options just don't match up well enough.

go with the first pic. looks so nice and flows well.

Edit: now that I look at it, I'm wondering if there is a black pearl filler plate with black lines, not chrome??

I had to come back to this thread, couldn't decide the first time. I agree with channad.
