    Calipers repainted in LA area?

    My ECS Stage 4's need repainting badly. Any1 know any shops around LA area?

    I'd like to keep the lettering on the calipers and prefer paint over powdercoat.

    Since powdercoating is done at very high temperatures (300F +) I decided to stay away from it and save myself from removing or ruining the pistons.
    Ended up going to DTM Autobody in El Monte, CA (Thanks Peter!).

    Call Platinum Motorsports on Melrose. i saw them paint a set of mercedes calipers to match the Brembo red, they came out awsome...

    What was the cost? did you have all of the calipers painted, I've seen some places that charge so much for painting that you're better off just buying a new painted set of calipers.

    If you're coming from the 10FWY. Get off on La Brea, go down to Melrose and make a left. Keep going on Melrose and you'll see it on your right side. You can't miss it. Bunch of high end cars.

    $250 to remove both calipers, sand them down. High temp primer, nice coat of Brembo red, emblem and thick clear coat over it.

    I was desperate and went for it. I'm getting it done at DTM Autobody in El Monte, CA.

    We'll see how things turn out.
