Turbo B6 S4 in Montreal

I was in Montreal this past weekend for the F1 race and while walking around at night I noticed a Nogaro B6 S4 parked on the side of St. Catherine Street. Later that night I heard a familiar exhaust note and it was the same car. It turned onto the street I was walking on and the guy let it rip and my jaw dropped when I heard the beautiful sound of the turbo. The car really took off. I know everyone is looking for info on turbocharging the b6/b7 S4 so I was hoping someone might know something about this car.

I heard about that s4....Im 99% sure its supercharged(my friend took a spin in it). Ill pm you about the shop that might have done it according to my source.

^^ could be supercharged. It was around 330am and I wasn't exactly walking straight. I thought it sounded more like a turbo whistle than a sc whine.

Nice! How was the F1 race?? I wanted to go this year, but I just went to Montreal a few months ago and decided to buy a ticket for American Le Mans this July at Lime Rock instead.

Is the shop doing more of these? If so, it might be a much easier option than MTM...

It could have been a centrifugal supercharger... basically a belt driven turbo to explain it simply

I really doubt there is room for one of those, there is barely room enough for a credit card to slide through anywhere in this engine bay. Superchargers are on top, or aren't there.

Nice! How was the F1 race??

I was in Montreal for the F1 race this weekend as well. Even though things got all messed up in the pits for Hamilton and Raikkonen during the race, it was still an incredible event. Then the night-life is insane as well.

I'm definitely going to make it an annual event.

ya F1 weekend is the busyest weekend in Montral, but it sucks becuase those those great $5 Lapdances go up to 15-20 bux that weekend.

Yeah Grand Prix weekend in Montreal is always incredible. I love the city and there is racing action all week. When the F1 cars arent practicing/qualifying/racing there are all sorts of other events held on the track (F430 Challenge, GT3 Cup, formula BMW cars). The city is beautiful, clean, has lots of character and the nightlife is amazing. The women are also amazing... I have been going for the past three years and I will continue to go every year.
