I got a deal thats hard to refuse on a Remus Exhaust w/ 4'' tips. I'm not too familiar with this exhaust. Has anyone ran one of these on a B6? I'm not that into noisy exhausts as they drive me crazy after a while.

    Re: Remus Exhaust Reviews

It sounds like a perfect exhaust system for you. I has a deep, clean (non-gargly) sound that escalates to a higher (though still deep) tone. As the revs increase, you really hear more and more of the turbo. However, the sound never becomes intrusive - especially because it is axle back rather than catback.

I had it on my b6 and I was in love. Might you want some wheels to compliment that beautiful exhaust. here's a picture of my baby with the remus exhaust - let me know if you're interested in the wheels, too.

Hey, you're in the SFV! I better hear you rocking a remus soon!

I got Remus exhaust for my 2003 3.0 A4 Quattro 6spd. At first it was barely noticeable growl. It wasn't loud enough for me. So then I took of the resonator and now it's just right. It's not as loud as my old SUV with flowmaster, but it's definitely noticeable. It also has a nice tone to it. So all in all, I like it.

I was thinking about doing the same to mine but the drone sound from taking the resonator off would drive me crazy.

i know this is a Necro Bump, but i dont need to start a new thread for this. Is there a way to put the tips further back? i dont like how they sit out from the bumper and are not flush with the back of the car. Has anyone had this issue with this exhaust or is it just me?

Nope. With the way that the tips come welded to the muffler and the design of it. That's the best way to do it man. Don't cut and weld. it will look like shit.

Their design was flawed from the beginning. The mufflers sit right at the edge of the bumper, causing paint burn. That's the way it is. No other way around it. Sorry. Even if you push the mufflers out more, it just hits the undercarriage of the car, so it's just a bad design.

I like the way they sound. Not dirty, but more of a *purr. Other than that, they are very expensive ass mufflers. man.

Don't know which mufflers you're speaking of in particular, but mine fit reasonably well with no "paint burn."

Ah, guess it depends on which mufflers you use. I went with some universals and have had no problems; sound great.
