FYI Window Tint & DIY (BOSTON?)

Hello. I ordered a DIY kit from snap tint and the project failed miserably. While the quality of film was excellent the somewhat generic instructions can be frustrating as a guide

. Since our cars are built so seamlessly there is no weather guard to remove and I believe most DIY-ers who have installed successfully on b7s remove the door panel to gain excess to whole window (I was not willing to take that risk).

Regardless, I lost about 90 bucks in "experimenting"

Would anyone around the Boston area like to refer me to a tinting shop that did a great job on their car for a reasonable price? Thanks much!

my friend took his saab 9-3 there... his father took his WRX and had the guy tint the windows at his office... my other friend took his suburban there and this guy does a really really good job... Ive been thinking of taking my car there sometime soon... he also has privacy tint... doesn't let the window break in if someone attempts a robbery... you can check out others but i recommend him

I was actually down in Billerica, Mass with my friend yesterday getting his 2005 M3 tinted with 20%. The place is called Tint-King, they're located at 505 Middlesex Turnpike in Billerica. I brought my S4 down there right when I bought it last summer. They didnt have to take the door panels off and they were able to tint everything in less than an hour. I got 35% Suntek all around. They do an excellent job and use a laser cutting tint system to speed up the process and be a lot more accurate. I highly recommend them. Usually you can call the same day and have your windows tinted that morning.

Tint King in Billerica is great! They did my car while I waited and did a great job at a fair price. Super nice guys too! Highly recommended.

Tint King also did my S4, they are great guys and did an amazing job. HIGHLY recomended!
