Looking for new seats, suggestions?

I have a nice gash in my drivers seat and have decided it's time to replace them both with either aftermarket or oem from a different generation i.e. RS4/S4 Recaros.

So, here's my thoughts. I have black leatherette as of now. I want something in either cloth or leather in black of course. My headliner, a-b-c pillar are camel suede so two tone seats that have goofy colors are out of the question.

I want a decent quality seat without breaking the bank. I can spend roughly $1300. So Recaro, Sparco, Momo, Bride, Corbeau etc is all I can think of and have no real life experience with them. So give me some ideas what you would get and keep in mind this will be used daily. So recline is a 100% must, no fixed backs.

I'm 6ft with a 34" waste.

I have a pair of sparco milanos for sale in the classifieds they are blue alcantara and are relatively close to your price range. They are the nicest seats that Sparco makes and I love them but need to use the money for other things (not sure how much longer the engine is gonna hold out at 182k). I should note that I ran these with black leatherette and they looked good. If I would have kept them longer, I would have purchased blue alcantara door cards and rear seats from an S4 to better match. I am 6'2" 205 lbs, (32" waist) btw.

Sorry, blue isn't going to work with black rear seats and camel colored everything else haha. Those are very nice seats though. Care to give a review on the daily comfort and holding???

I have the same interior as you and it worked just fine (based on the comments of others, not my own). The lateral support is very good, I took decently long trips in them and never got sore or anything. I loved having the full alcantara because it stuck you in the seat (unlike leather or leatherette where I would slide around and have to fight to centered in the seat. IMHO they are the best seats you can get for a combo of DD and weekend track warrior duty

Corbeau's for a pair can be had for about 850-900 with brackets and hardware...

You can get Sparco through them as well.

I have all black interior and would be tempted, but would prefer fixed back and 5point ready.

I have black door cards. The only other thing covered int he camel it the shift plate thingy......I'm pretty set on getting black so it can somewhat match the back seat since I'm not planning on taking them out.

Anyone have any experience with the Corbeau seats? The price is very tempting but it also scares me at the same time.

that is the milano prestige, its the same seat as mine with an adjustable leg bolster and leather. I have the milano II

Yeah but it's the color. I just can't put the blue in. It goes away from my original plans and theme.

They are a bit more than you specified but also have B5 A4 specific brackets.
