Good deal?

So i'm finally back in the market for a new audi. specifically a 2002 or 2003, 1.8 or 3.0, sedan or avant, gotta be quattro and manual. I found an 02' 3.0 six speed in dark blue with grey interior. its got 95K on the clock. interior is a 9.5 out of ten, really incredible for the miles. exterior is like a 8-9 out of 10. new tires and brakes. from a reputable audi dealer (jack daniels of fair lawn). I got them down to 9999. I'm going to try and show up with 10000 cash and say, i have this, take it or leave it, in regards to the tax and misc fees and such.

Should i jump on it, or wait for something in that range with less miles?

Also, i'll be financing it, if that should factor into the equation.

What do you guys think?

The 3.0 engine should be solid.
ust look for the following:

Timing belt change can run you at 1200-1500 USD
Check for oil leaks on the enigne
Six speed gearbox should switch nice and smooth fro 1-2-3. If not they might show wear on the sync. rings.
Assure you got the sport package/suspension

I got mine for 14KUSD including tax and so and had 87K miles on it.

45k ahahah the audi was 29k for the 1.8t or up to 35k for the 3.0 topps and thats including them being fully loaded with quattro

both links show what each model cost from base to fully loaded. Also for 45k you should of got a rs4

^^haha! there is no such thing as a B6 RS4 here in the US and a B7 RS4 i saw it at the dealer a few months ago had a sticker of $63,576! i'd buy it tomorrow for 45K

The goal is to get the dealer as close to invoice as possible it doesn't matter what they put the sticker at. Think of it like this the price they have on the sticker is their starting/asking price. I have never once paid the asking price for any car new or used. I would of went to another dealer if they are charging that much for the a4.

Also I meant to put s4 not rs4.

^^makes sense, but i think pricing is different within states and years! because an S4 was 55k base here when it was released, neither have we payed sticker! we just got a GL450 for $2400 below invoice! but i mean, my sticker was supplied by AoA not the dealer!

lol don't bash on the guy now! live and learn u see it said as tested price 40k!!!!! i'll scan my window sticker and we'll move from there! i didn't overpay, i bought the car when it was 6 months old with not a single scratch/dent or what not with i think it was 1333 miles for $19,500! thats half the price!
