    Noob, XM help...

old Audi guy from way back, UrQuattro days. Bought a used 2005 A6 with Bose and nav/MM for wife. Nice, but XM radio is about to beat me. I cannot find a way to get to the complete XM station list. The previous owner has about 6 useless presets, and the manual mode will only let me access the numbered stations that are already in. That is, if I try to enter 40 with the wheel in the menu, it will only let me choose 46. If I try 40, for example, it will not let the 0 illuminate, and I can only enter the next station in memory. I have read the XM portion of the MM manual at least 3 times, but cannot find a way to get a station list. Can you point me to a thread or instruction that will help? Frustrated!

Unfortunately, not many people in here are familiar with the MMI controls. Maybe there's a toggle setting in the menu to switch the Station +/- feature?

I know that on my A6 (non-MMI), I can toggle the station change knob to select channels by the following categories:

    1. Channel number
    2. Preset
    3. Genre

Perhaps your system is locked on the preset format and you need to change the settings on the XM tuner. I'd imagine that there's an "options" or "menu" section for the XM tuner.
