$620 Tiffany Gift Card for $575, Giving away nearly $50!

I have a Tiffany Gift Card that does not expire, with a hair under $620 ($619 and change) that I was going to use to get something for my girlfriend, but I decided I am going to get her something else instead. I would like to get cash for the card, and hopefully help out someone on the zine.

If you're planning on spending $620 at Tiffany now or in the future, I'm basically giving you $45.

Is there anyway to check the balance of the card to verify the amount you displayed? it's difficult to sell gift cards for that large of an amount without actually verifying with the company first...

true, i can give you the card number...but there are also scammers that get the number and try to use it without buying it.

yeah, gift cards are definitely a tricky item to sell.

i actually picked this one up off of craigslist from some woman. i met her at tiffany to confirm the balance myself before i paid her. also, with the newer gift cards, they have a pin number. if you know both the card number and the pin number, the cards can be used online. so theoretically, with one of these pin number cards, you could buy the card after finding out the balance, then the person could take your money and subsequently use the card before you do later online with the info they'd written down.

luckily, this card doesn't have a pin number so that cannot be done...of course, i'm also not a scammer.

i'll also entertain offers at this point...but i do not want to go too much lower than where i'm at now...i'm just giving away money!
