I tried getting Vag-Com to work with Vista and it doesn't see my OBD interface cable, but sees a connection. Can anyone help me clear this error with their Vagcom?

Dipped headlight error can be "reset" by turning the car off then back on. However the error will come back if there is a problem with the headlight and can't be cleared unfortunately from what I have experienced myself.

Lights work, I just didn't tighten the connector to one of the lights when I disassembled the car and triggered the error by starting the car. Vag Com will clear it.

I tried looking it up but it seems like you need some type of 2 channel adaptor according to a4mods.com. Do you have this? If so I have vag-com on my laptop

Let me know if you need it and i'll charge my laptop. I'll be home all week

Sorry to threadjack but... Is there anyone in Markham or close by with a B6 and has Xenons that will help me test mine out? I want to be certain that my ballasts are dead before putting an order for replacements

How do you test it out? I might be able to help (but know nothing about cars)

Is this fixed yet? I could try to get a laptop and use the a4mods.com method for that error.

I have access to a laptop and software, but the article calls for a dual k line connector, do you have one of these? I just ordered one from ebay, but who knows when it'll show up. Where are you located?

Scarborough, not too far from Scarborough Town Centre. I have the KKL cable from eBay seller alpha-bid. I've only used it with 311.2 and 409.1.

I think I'll be at audipotential's FMIC install in Dudebridge today for a bit around 1.
