The car holds boost but not full boost. When i got home i logged the car because the check engin light came on and found the following codes:

I STFA and discovered that it could be a blown turbo(I have Ko4s??), HG, N75, spider hose, and so on. Not really sure which is the problem. By the sound of it, i might concure that the problem is turbo related. Thanks in advance for the help. This is why i drive an Audi.

    Re: Thick White Smoke???

    Wow,

Yeah that doesnt sound like its good news for you. Do the turbo's make the loud dentist drill noise? You say you have K04's did you put them in or were they in when you bought the car.

How hard have you driven it, I see the one code of maximum engine speed exceeded.

Anyway. I hope the best for you and that its not anything serious, but man its not looking good from what you described.

before my dad rebuilt my mr2, it was like this. he messed with the spark plugs i think made it run a little better. I was like 12 when this happened though so i'm not 100% sure.

    Re: Thick White Smoke???

A bad spark plug can cause engine misfire, triggering the SERVICE ENGINE SOON or CHECK ENGINE light to appear.

    Re: Thick White Smoke???

Looks like you have a ossible boost leak, thats the negative deviation.

Your misfiring in 4,5, and 6 (same Head). thats bank 2. Possible POS/ICM failure. you have two. One for each bank right on top of the airbox.

the low voltage is a low battery

Lambda no acticity is a dead 02 sensors, looks like its the driver side, and its the 02 right after the turbo. Get is replaced. Its not like the rear 02 which dont need replacing right away.

If you get white smoke once you let off the throttle, its possible Blown head gasket, If its during Acceleration you prob blew a seal in th turbo, Check your coolant tank and tel us what color the fluid is. Compression test

    Re: Thick White Smoke???

Do a pressure test. The white smoke could be a build up of condensation burning off.

Watch your coolant level, and have a look to see if it looks clean or not. Also check to see if the oil looks like chocolate milk.

yeah i was going to say, maybe headgasket, that could be your issue. as Jordan said just go outside check your dipstick, or even easier look at your coolant.

    Re: Thick White Smoke???

Check both. It's possible when a HG blows for one fluid to contaminate the other, but not visa versa. Pop off the oil cap and have a look, as well as checking your coolant.
